Danny Ruiz is back with a "W"

Danny Ruiz won his fight with Robert Thompson this past weekend at the RCC event in Jacksonville. Thompson was a game opponent using his reach and wrestling ability to keep the fight standing but Danny wouldn't be denied. The judges score cards all read 30 to 27 at the end of the match... special thanks to Robert Thompson for the match and Paul Andres for making it all happen.

Capitao is on 99 ROCK

All this month we have a new radio ad playing on 99.5. We'll be on weekday evenings, once an hour from 7PM until 11PM and once an hour over the entire weekend so be sure to keep an ear out for us!

E.O.D. Open Mat...

We were happy to host a drop-in crowd of nearly 20 today, all E.O.D. coming to get a taste of Capitao Jiu-Jitsu. We always welcome our armed forces and we are willing to do whatever it takes to better prepare them for the field...

The Guantlet...

...it's our "secret sauce" and every MMA Fighter at Capitao goes through it. Danny Ruiz's last Gauntlet before his fight on the 15th is tomorrow morning and I shudder to think what kind of madness BJJ Instructor Daniel Silva has in store for him... I'm sure he will come through like a champ and I HATE IT for his opponent in Jacksonville next weekend.
