Capitao Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts is the Emerald Coast's preeminent martial arts facility. Originally the brainchild of Danny "El Capitao" Ruiz, a talented mixed martial arts competitor and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Ricardo de la Riva, Capitao now plays host to no less than EIGHT Black Belts in arts such as Judo, Japanese Jujitsu, Karate AND Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Team Capitao boasts both amateur and professional competitors who take part in many high level events such the Florida State BJJ Championships and Ultimate Event Productions (UEP) Mixed martial Arts Competitions.
